Prayer Ministries at North Conway Baptist Church
Prayer is an essential part of a dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ and is the heartbeat of a church that honors the Lord. We believe in prayer at NCBC and we invite everyone to take part in the various prayer ministries of our church. Listed below are some of the prayer ministries currently offered by our church:PRAYER ROOM—Room E-14 is dedicated as a meeting place for prayer. This room is furnished with prayer materials, books, and prayer requests. It is open on Sundays and is available for use during weekly office hours.
- PRAYER WARRIORS—Prayer warriors is a group of faithful and dedicated members committed to the ministry of prayer who meet weekly in room E-14 on Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. Contact Olive Bessent, our Prayer Warriors ministry leader, for more information about this group and how you can participate.
- PRAYER CHAIN—Periodic prayer requests are sent from the church office through use of our phone tree. These automated messages are the most recent prayer needs received from our membership. Prayer chain requests are limited to emergencies and the needs of church members and immediate family members. All other requests will be shared at the Wednesday mid-week prayer service. If you would like to be a part of this prayer ministry and receive these requests that you can pray for, then please call the church office and ask to be included on the prayer chain.
- SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER REQUESTS—Our weekly Sunday morning worship program includes a place where requests for prayer can be listed. These requests are collected and included in our prayer time during the Sunday evening service. These requests are also included in our Wednesday Mid-Week Messenger along with other requests for prayer that are communicated to our church office.
- WEDNESDAY MID WEEK PRAYER SERVICE—Each Wednesday night at 6:30 our Pastor leads a mid-week prayer time and Bible study. Opportunities to share prayer requests are given and these requests are lifted up to the Lord in prayer by those attending. The Mid-Week Messenger is distributed to everyone attending this service with a listing of the latest prayer requests.
- WEEKLY EMAIL PRAYER REQUESTS—Requests for prayer that are shared in our mid-week service are collected and sent via email to anyone requesting to have these latest requests. You can call the church office to have these requests sent to your email.
- WEBSITE PRAYER REQUESTS—Any one who accesses the NCBC website can leave prayer request messages that will be shared with prayer teams and placed in our Mid-Week Messenger.
